PLANTS IN THE DESERT
Plants in the desert need to survive with little water...Some are edible. Others are dangerous. Be careful!
Soaptree Yucca- This plant is poisonous so be careful. It is a tall plant with its flowers clustered at teh top of a 6 foot long flower stalk.
Asian Mustard-It has 4 petals and is 1/4 of an inch across. The flowers are followed by 2.5 inch long seed pods. The leaves are mainly in hassle rosette and are green with toothed margins. This is a very poisonous plant
poisonous plant-The flowers are clustered in rounded, It is 3 inches wide. Its pedals are green, and has 5 uncuved magnetta and white pods. This is a very poisonous plant
prairie sunflower- this is not poisonous and is safe to eat :). This large yellow showery flower has 10-30 rays, and has red-brown disk's.
Arizona walnut A brown shelled nut, with little hares.
Barrel Cactus This plant can get 8 feet tall,and have narrow tepals that are edible but are like sour little fruits. This plant is not poisonous.
